From valuation to auction day, here’s what you can expect when selling at auction with us. Please note that while we auction items on your behalf we do not buy them.

Valuing Your Items for Sale at Auction

The first step to selling at auction is understanding the value of your items.

Our team of experienced valuers offers no-obligation valuations to assess their market potential of items you wish to sell at auction. Simply fill in our online valuation request form with photographs and any relevant documentation, or book an in-person appointment at our premises on Francis Street, Dublin 8.

For those unable to visit us in person, alternative arrangements can be made to provide valuations for any items you hope to sell through one of our auctions.

During the valuation, we’ll provide insights into guide prices, reserve settings, and our terms of sale. Once agreed, your item will be included in our next available auction, with cataloguing completed six weeks prior to the event.

Selling Your Items at Auction

Selling at auction should be a rewarding experience, and trained auctioneers and staff make sure your items receive the visibility they deserve. Each lot is professionally photographed and described in our online and printed catalogues, which reach a broad audience of potential buyers.

As a vendor, our fees for selling include a vendor’s commission of 20% (inclusive of VAT) on the hammer price for sold items. There is also a €15 marketing and insurance fee per lot.
